The arch-man.de website has been designed in such a way as not to process unnecessary personal data; however, we use the benefits of cookies and respond to messages sent to us, therefore processing of personal data occurs.

Reasons and purposes for processing, data retention period 

We process personal data within arch-man.de in connection with the following processes: 

  • E-mail and postal contact 

We process personal data in connection with: 

  • responding to email or postal contact from you to us in no relation to placing or fulfilling an order is based on your consent by sending us a message (Article 6(1)(a) of the DPA), 
  • the handling of correspondence, including making future contact with those who have contacted us, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1) letter f DPA), 
  • archiving correspondence for evidential purposes in the event of the need to defend, establish or assert our claims and for internal analytical purposes, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1) letter f DPA). 

Recipients of personal data 

In certain scopes, we transfer personal data to third parties with whom we cooperate on various terms – if these are entities that process the personal data we entrust to them for the purposes specified by us, these are our processors with whom we enter into an entrustment agreement for the processing of personal data. These include, but are not limited to, an accounting company, IT service providers, courier service providers or marketing agencies. 

Sometimes we share data with other entities which also administer such data – e.g. a law office servicing us, certain contractors or public authorities within the framework of their proceedings. The sharing of data always takes place on an appropriate legal basis. 

Transfer of data to third countries 

In the event that we do transfer your personal data to third countries (outside the European Economic Area), it is likely to be due to the IT tools we use. In this case, the transfer will either take place in compliance with the requirements set out by the European Commission (i.e. to countries which provide an adequate level of protection or when appropriate protections have been provided – e.g. through the use of standard contractual clauses) or on the basis of your explicit consent.

Depending on your use of arch-man.de and the basis and purpose of the processing of your Personal Data, you may be entitled to all or some of the rights listed below. 

You have the right to:

  • correct, erase or restrict the processing of personal data, 
  • to object to the processing, 
  • as well as the right to personal data portability. 

In case of processing your data on the basis of consent – you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, which, however, does not affect the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. 

Where your data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to such processing.

We do not apply automated decision-making. 

Rules for processing cookies 

We use cookies on the arch-man.de website. 

There are two general categories of cookies – permanent and session cookies. Permanent cookies remain on your device until you delete them either manually or automatically. Session cookies remain on your device until you close your browser, when they are automatically deleted.
